Ah, this image brings back memories, in essence, when the R-10's ruled the IND "A" line back in their supreme champion days (although it is R-7A prototype car #1575 shown here). Also, 190th Street-Overlook Terrace in upper Washington Heights, Manhattan was my former home station for almost thirty-two years (September 1966-June 1998). If anyone asks, I was spending the weekend with some family friends in Elizabeth, New Jersey while this fantrip was in operation. However, let us just say that I was there in spirit on the train though.
