End id near

It's still painful for me, beacuse if all the reamining R36 are reefed, the Redbirds will never roam the rails again. The fleet frim the 1964 World's Fair, the last non-stainless subway car will never run again. Look at LIRR, they sold their M1's and they'll runs as diesel-hauled coaches in Mexico. NJT sold it Comet I's. And the Newark City Subway PCC's were sold to San Francsico. It's too bad the TA won't listen to anyone. Even more painful is that the R36 would be pulled out a few months shy of full 40 years-while the other Redbirds-R26,28,29,33 made it to 40. If all railfans unite-we can stop the TA from destroying these historic cars. Having memories and 6688 is not enough-we need R36's for future generations to see this last-of-an-era car. Stop the TA! Protest, call, or contact your railway organzations ASAP!
