Yes, girls in pajamas at Penn Station until 7:00 PM today

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

As promised by NJ TRANSIT and the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation, there *were* girls in pajamas!

And guys in pajamas.

They were handing out candy and brochures promoting the Philly Overnight® Hotel Package.

I could really feel the love from the “PJ Love Patrol”. And here are the photos to prove it.

The grab and go…

Girls in pajamas at Penn Station at 3:00 PM

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

That’s my guess based on the available info. See below:

NJ TRANSIT and the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation are partnering to promote the ease of traveling between Philadelphia and New York—via NJ TRANSIT and SEPTA.

NJ TRANSIT and SEPTA recently introduced joint-ticketing options that enable customers to purchase NJ TRANSIT and SEPTA tickets in a single transaction.

To highlight the joint ticket, today, February 10, a pajama-clad street team known as the “PJ Love Patrol” will be on hand in New York Penn Station from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. as part of the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation’s (GPTMC) promotion of the Philly Overnight® Hotel Package.

Photos to be posted later…?

Fashion Week is moving to Lincoln Center

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

The long awaited news…

After all my work at Fashion Week last year (during which time I saw Julia Allison and Sigourney Weaver, and missed seeing Donald Trump, even though he was right next to me), it turns out IMG finally decided upon Lincoln Center as the new location for the biannual event. So they decided against relocating Fashion Week to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, even though it already hosted a practice run. I guess that means my work is done.

By the way, is this anyone famous?

She’s not wearing any pants!

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

This public transit gem comes from The Salt Lake Tribune:

Pantsless woman really a fashion victim
10/28/2008 :: A woman was yanked from a TRAX train Monday morning after fellow riders reported that she was not wearing any pants. Utah Transit Authority officers asked the woman to get off the train at about 7:30 a.m. at the 5400 South station in Murray. After they spoke with the woman, they realized she was wearing a micro miniskirt. Her jacket covered the skirt, leading fellow riders to believe she was not wearing anything beneath her waist, said UTA spokeswoman Carrie Bohnsack-Ware. After officers interviewed the woman, they let her get back on the train and continue her ride.

I saw Sigourney Weaver at Fashion Week!

Friday, February 8th, 2008

I came in through the backstage/VIP entrance to The Tent and she was right there, having her photo taken! I was standing right behind the photographer when this photo was taken.

I then went into The Tent to see the Michael Kors fashion show. A few minutes before the show started (40 minutes late), Sigourney walked into The Tent. She posted for photos, and I got a poor photo of her posing for those photos (look in the center of the photo below).
